Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00pm come to Holy Hour and spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Childcare is available in the Garden room beginning at 3:30 until 5:00pm. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 4:00pm, and often a priest is available during the hour for confessions. Infuse your summer vacation with spiritual growth and dedicated times of prayer in a quiet church.
The Safeway Grocery cards with a picture of tomatoes on the front are vulnerable to gift card fraud. If you have one of these cards, please stop using it. If you have money remaining on the card and/or if you have any concerns about whether your card has been compromised, please contact Mary Tschumper with Safeway at Mary.tschumper@safeway.com or 303-843-7582. Safeway will replace the card with a more secure gift card and refund any lost funds. If you have any other questions about grocery cards, please contact Carissa Money at carissad47@yahoo.com or 303-882-0100. Thank you for supporting our school.
Movement Madness is offering camp each day at St. Vincent de Paul School from 9:00am-2:00pm. (Some weeks excluded, see flyer for all dates). This is sponsored through third-party “Movement Madness.” Several of our SVDP families have participated in the camps in the past and appreciated the positive environment that Ms. Jenny Cargile creates, along with the healthy, active and interactive games she facilitates. Starting June 14th, the school gym will be open for incoming 5th-8th grade girls and boys for basketball. Times will be assigned by grade, starting at 5:00 P.M. and running thru 9:00 P.M., each Thursday during the summer. Please reach out to Nick Burns (nburns23@icloud.com) for more information and to sign up your child. We will ask for a small donation each week to participate, and the money raised will be used to support athletics at SVDP. Thanks to the Knight’s of Columbus for their sponsorship.
Starting June 25-29, St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be offering a Music Camp. The music staff will lead students in learning to sing and play traditional hymns, contemporary songs, Chant and handbells. Join the community at Kids Movie Night & DJ at Cory-Merrill on Tuesday, June 12th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm. Meet at the Kirk of Bonnie Brae at 1201 S. Steele Street in Denver. SVDP is providing the popcorn!
