Announcements

Re-registration packets with admissions applications were made live on the Registration Tab at the Parent Portal Friday afternoon 1/10/2020.

Friday, 1/24/2020 at 3:30pm: SVDP closes the Order of Priority Seating for returning families and new siblings of current families.  Beginning with Open House on Tuesday, January 28th, families new to the school will begin to be awarded seats.

Spirit Wear Day

Friday, January 24th is an all school Spirit Wear Day! Each month on a scheduled Spirit Wear Day, students may elect to wear a spirit wear top. Tops include: – Any purchased spirit gear from this year or previous years – SVDP sports jerseys – Faith day t-shirts – 8th graders may wear their class t-shirt (given to students by October retreat) Bottoms: – Regular uniform bottoms, skirts, pants, shorts, shoes, socks

Welcome Father Hilton

Open House 2020

  • Red & White Dress Down Day

  • Join your children for lunch in the cafeteria and feel free to surprise them with something special to eat – an SVdP tradition! Here are lunches by grade:

    • Grades 3/4 – 11:15 – 11:35 am

    • Grades 1/2 – 11:40 – 12:00 pm

    • Kindergarten – 11:55 – 12:15 pm

    • Grade 5/6 – 12:25 – 12:48 pm

    • Grade 7/8 – 12:48 – 1:15 pm

Tuesday, Jan. 28: Clergy/Religious Appreciation Day

  • Uniform Dress

  • Open House for Prospective Families, 9am-1pm: Tell your friends and neighbors!

  • Send a note to our priests and sisters or say a prayer for them to show your appreciation.

Wednesday, Jan. 29: Student Appreciation Day

  • Free Dress Down Day

  • Students get an extra recess to celebrate!

Thursday, Jan. 30: Teacher Appreciation Day

  • Uniform Dress

  • Consider a small note or prayer for faculty and staff.

  • 2pm: 8th grade v. Teacher Volleyball game – An SVdP Tradition!

Friday, Jan. 31: Sleep in! No School

SAVE THE DATE: Grandparents Day was added to the school calendar for Thursday, May 7th which is the May Crowing Mass on the Thursday before Confirmation and Communion. A formal invitation will go out in the next few months.

Volleyball

Volleyball registration opens January 15th

This year, registrations will be handled entirely through the CSAL website: www.csalden.org.   Fees will be requested through FACTS Incidental Billing as we have done with other sports seasons this year.  Registration must be complete ˘prior to attending the tryouts on the dates listed below:

Tuesday January 21st 7th and 8th grade 3:15-5:15

5th and 6th grade 5:15-6:30

Widget volleyball information

Information regarding Widget Volleyball and registration is forthcoming.  We always need volunteers to help with coaching the 3rd and 4th grade teams.  Thank you for considering volunteering to coach or assist in some way.
