TechBoost Results

47 contributors have helped us to reach a sum of $58,750 for the tech boost.  Thank you!  The vast majority of the funds have been collected, and are in hand, allowing us to make immediate decisions to ensure that our classrooms are directly impacted as soon as possible.  Following is a description of how the money has been or is being spent.

Replace 3 failing Smartboards with the new Smart Flatscreen.  These were installed in Miss Barnes’, Mrs. Yoder’s, and Mrs. McConaty’s classrooms.

Blessing Bags

Students are beginning to assemble the “Blessing Bags” for those experiencing homelessness in Denver.  Please bring to the Front Office any travel size toiletries from your travels or hotel stays.  This is a very helpful part of our service projects.

Jamba Juice Fundraiser Update

JambaJuice ordering is now open for Trimester 3.   Please keep in mind ordering can be made for any JambaJuice Tuesday up to 2 weeks in advance.

SVDP Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry (brought to you by SVDP Serves) is ready to begin its travels from classroom to classroom, collecting food for the SVdP parish food pantry. Parents will receive an email the week before the bin will be parked at your child’s classroom. It will remain there for one week (Monday through Friday) before continuing its journey. Thank you for sharing from your abundance.

This is our final push to get in donations and we need everyone’s help!  Final items on our wish list:

February 19//Mod Market Dine-in Event

Join SVDP community at the Glendale Modern Market for diner on February 19th! Mention the SVDP fundraiser and 50% of proceeds will be donated to the school (valid in-store only).

February 22//Deadline to order SVDP Spirit wear
April 12//Grandparents Day

Invitations will be sent home the week of March 5th to invite Grandparents and Special Friends to visit the morning of April 12th. Be sure to let your special guests know so they can plan their travel.

  • Denver Nuggets Catholic Families Night is Sunday, February 24th at 3:00 pm.  Click here for more information on how to purchase tickets.

  • Come and ride the Ski Train at a special rate for our school – Saturday, March 9th from 6:30 am until we return at 6:40 pm! There is a lounge car and you can bring your own food also to eat on the train. We only have 56 spots left… It’s also possible to just ride the train round trip there are shuttles at the Winter Park station that take people into town and to participate in other activities! Let Cathleen Gillies know if you are up for this adventure at 415-613-8493!  She needs a head count by this week.  Click here for a flyer with more information.

  • Yearbooks for this 2018-2019 school year are now for sale!  You can purchase your yearbook at ybpay.lifetouch.com with the school code 4357119.  Deadline to order is March 8th.
