Parent Teacher Conferences will be held via Zoom Conferencing on October 8-9. You will receive from your child/ren’s homeroom teachers their personal Zoom link and a scheduled 15-minute time slot.  If you get onto the Zoom link a few minutes before your scheduled time, you will be able to wait in the “waiting room” until your scheduled start time.  If you are using a personal device (tablet or phone), the Zoom app will need to be downloaded.  If you are using a laptop or similar, you should be able to access through your browser.

Volunteer Registration Information

Volunteer Requirements to interact with children in any capacity at an Archdiocesan School -Safe Environment Training is required:

Please remember, before anyone is allowed to volunteer for  at the school, they must complete the Archdiocese Safe Environment Training and register online with VIRTUS.

If you are a new family to SVdP School this year or if you are returning and have never completed the volunteer paperwork in the past, please click on the following link: http://www.virtus.org/

On the left side of the screen, click on First -Time Registrant to begin registration. To proceed, click on Begin the registration process. Continue to follow all prompts until you have completed all sections and see the message, “Thank you for completing the registration process!”.  Click here to view Registration Instructions for Volunteers.

Please note, for returning families that have completed the volunteer requirements in the past, we will provide information for you to update your account within the next few weeks.

LUNCH AND RECESS VOLUNTEERS

Thank you to all of our September Lunch & Recess volunteers, our teachers are truly grateful for the help! We are still in need of additional help, so please look here for the October sign up.

SVdP DINE OUT FUNDRAISER

With limited opportunities for community events, your participations in Fundraisers are more important than ever in 2020!

Our first dine-out will be THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1ST, 5-8PM, at Charcoal Bistro, 1028 S Gaylord St. Be sure to tell them you are with SVDP and the restaurant will donate 20% of all food and bar purchases to our school. Both dine-in or takeout orders count, including all wine, beer, and cocktails to go. Families intending to dine-in should make a reservation at charcoalbistro.com/reservations to ensure an available table.

Gala In the Garden 2.0

Thanks to all that came to the first Gala volunteers meeting. SVDP Serves

Are you ready to clean out your closets, mud room, and storage space??? It’s almost time to help our neighbors in need by donating used or new coats and boots. Look for our bins by the flag pole at drop-off and pick-up in early October. Please bag your items into 4 categories: children age 0-5, children age 6-12, women, and men. SVDP Serves will distribute the donations to Gabriel House, Marisol Home, Samaritan House and Denver Rescue Mission. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity!

Day of Blessing

Mark your calendars!  Father Hilton will be blessing our school on October 5th at 2:20 pm.  Then after school at 3:20 pm in the St Vincent de Paul Church Circle Drive, Father Hilton will be doing a pet blessing.  Bring your pets in cages or on leashes.
