  • Sign up for a FREE Formed.org account to access excellent resources to support your own and your students’ faith formation. Click “sign up” and “as a parishioner”. Search for “St. Vincent de Paul School” and fill out the information.

Thank you for your generosity to the Teachers/Staff Christmas Fund this year. We know they are our most valuable resource here at St. Vincent de Paul and they love partnering with you!

December 16th – Noon Dismissal – No Extended Care

  • December 20th – Class Christmas Parties & Last Full day of school before Christmas Break

  • January 4th – First full day of school back from Christmas Break

Thanksgiving Food Drive is a Huge Success!

‘Thank you’ to all who donated to the 8th Grade Thanksgiving Food Drive. The students worked diligently, packing 85 boxes and delivering them to families in need all over the Denver metro area including alumni of a maternity shelter, senior housing, individual families and a community pantry. The recipients were extremely grateful, acknowledging the tremendous need in the community. Please keep them in your prayers this advent season. Special thank you to Ms. Brown, Ms. Espinola, Mrs. Sullivan and Mrs. McConaty. Without their support, this huge endeavor would never be possible. Thank you and God Bless!

Christmas Wreaths

Don’t forget to pick up your wreath this Sunday, 12/4! Our 8th grade elves will be outside the school along the Arizona Car Line from 10:30-12pm. Thank you again for supporting SVdP!

SVdP School Christmas Caroling

Please join us for SVdP School Christmas caroling on Thursday, December 15!  We will meet at the gym doors at 5:15 to organize into a few smaller groups and begin caroling at 5:30.  We will walk through the neighborhood to sing carols as we prepare for Christmas! Children in grades K-2 are especially encouraged to attend, and all children must attend with at least one parent. Cookies and hot cocoa will be served at the end of the event when we meet back at the gym doors around 6:15pm. Mrs. Smeltz is also looking for a few individuals who are both familiar with the neighborhood and might be willing to lead the singing in a couple of groups! Lyric sheets will be provided. If you feel brave and would be willing to help this way, please email Mrs. Smeltz at ksmeltz@svdpk8.com.

If you are unable to join us for caroling, but would like to listen to a few carols and you live within a few blocks of SVdP, mark your calendars and keep your eyes out! Our approximate caroling boundaries will be University Blvd, Mississippi Ave, S Milwaukee St, and E Iowa Ave. We will be coming by to sing carols on December 15 and would love to sing for you.  Tell your neighbors!

Christmas Break Chicken Care

Our chickens need your help over the Christmas break! Please consider volunteering with your family at our coop to care for our eight hens. You can sign up HERE with your name and email. Christmas Shoppe

It’s that time of year at SVdP and the elves have hit the ground running to get ready for the Christmas Shoppe. The Christmas Shoppe will be on December 13th and 14th this year and for those of you that are unfamiliar with what the Christmas Shoppe is let us tell you.The Christmas Shoppe is a gift shop that provides our students with a festive and easy way to purchase simple presents for their immediate family members (and pets!) for Christmas. Students (with help from parents please) will complete an order form that will come home with them. Each gift is $3 and we will use the order form to debit your FACTS account. All proceeds are returned 100% back to the school. All order forms will be due Wednesday, DEC.7th The Christmas Shoppe is put on by volunteer elves and if you’re interested please sign up HERE. Thank you for your continued support of the Christmas Shoppe, it has grown in size over the years and has truly become a magical event the kids look forward to every year.

Join the SVdP parish on Dec 3rd from 5:30-7:30 in the circle drive for Christmas Carols, food trucks, hot cocoa and more!

The Search is on for a Grandparents Day Committee!

Mark your calendars for SVdP Grandparents/Special Friend Day on April 28th.   We are looking for 4-6 volunteers to help coordinate invites and refreshments for this special day.  If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Laura Camarella (lcamarella@gmail.com).  The committee will kick off in January so reply today!ff in January so reply today!
